Ecowpower are a relatively new supplier to the Irish energy market having started supplying homes in 2021. They provide a number of electricity plans for domestic customers.
Ecopower was established in 1996 as a renewable energy development company, with a particular interest in on-shore wind energy developments. Ecopower is an Irish company, wholly owned and managed in Ireland. Ecopower operates windfarms in Counties Kilkenny, Donegal and Mayo and continues to develop new windfarm and solar projects

Ecopower – Fuel Mix
The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) requires companies that supply electricity to customers disclose the sources they use to generate their energy each year.
As Ecopower began supplying Green Electricity in January 2021 there is no historic fuel mix or CO2 emissions data available. Details of their fuel mix and how they source electricity will be provided when they have been in operation for 12 months.
Ecopower state the supply 100% green electricity. Subject to verification by the CRU under the CRU’s Green Source Product Verification (GSPV) process.
