Flogas – Green Energy Certification

100% Green Electricity 
All of the electricity supplied to Flogas electricity or dual fuel customers is sourced from renewable generation. Flogas will purchase Carbon credits equal to the total carbon emissions produced by your home gas consumption. Therefore, your gas consumption will be carbon neutral. This process is called Carbon Offsetting.

Plant a Tree on your behalf

Flogas commit to plant one tree for every switch made to Flogas. Trees on the Land is a cross-border initiative covering the 32 counties of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Trees on the Land focuses on native Irish trees and planting takes place each winter season between December and March.

Flogas – Fuel Mix

The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) requires companies that supply electricity to customers disclose the sources they use to generate their energy each year. 

100% of the electricity supplied under a Green Future price plan is sourced from renewable generation.  100% of the natural gas our customers use on Flogas Green Future Gas or Dual fuel price plans is carbon offset through audited carbon reduction projects (subject to verification by the CRU under the CRU’s Green Source Product Verification, GSPV, process.
