BEenergy has been in the news recently as it reached a deal to be acquired by Flogas… see our recent blog for more on this: ‘flogas acquire budget energy’.
On the back of the acquisition Flogas reassured customers that there would be no immediate change… it’s business as usual with customers in Ireland continuing to be supplied and billed by BEenergy.
But one immediate impact has been the release of two really competitive offers aimed at attracting new customers and retaining existing customers.
What are the new BEEnergy offers?
BEenergy two new offers are aimed at providing offers that will appeal to a range of customers who may prioritise different things…
Budget Bonus 28% Discount
Firstly, the Budget Bonus 28% Discount Tariff provides a really competitive rate which will appeal to those customers who prefer a low tariff rate over cashback, promotions or other discounts. At 28% it’s the largest discount BEenergy have ever introduced to their tariffs in Ireland.
Budget Advantage 2020
The Budget Advantage 2020 Tariff comes with a slightly higher rate (its actually the same as the BEEnergy Standard rate tariff) but has the ‘advantage’ of coming with a Welcome Credit of €200. This will appeal to those customers who prefer a discount or offer over simply a tariff rate.
Remember both these tariffs come with a 1 Year contract, which is pretty standard across the market. There is a €100 early exit fee if you leave within the one year contract period – and if you don’t pay by Direct Debit a €300 security deposit may be added to your account. Both these deals come with online billing.
Managing your BEEnergy account
BEenergy also make it easy when it comes to managing your bills. You will be billed on a monthly basis and receive an online bill every quarter.
BEenergy also encourage you to take control of your account with their BEenergy APP. With the APP you can view bills, monitor your energy use, submit meter readings and make payment through your online account.
